    Sacramento’s genre-bending singer-songwriter Sea of Bees (nee Julie Ann Baenziger) is playing a string of New York shows at the beginning of February, and I’m happy to announce that I will also be playing one of these shows!  I’m a huge fan of Julie’s and I’m excited to see her in such an intimate setting.     Lacrymosa at Music Hall of Williamsburg on 2/16

    Pearl and the Beard

    In celebration of the release of their latest single/video “Prodigal Daughter” from Killing the Darlings, my lovely labelmates Pearl and the Beard will be headlining Music Hall of Williamsburg on 02/16/12. The “extended single” release will include three bonus tracks: a solo song each by Jeremy, Jocelyn, and Emily. 

    … And I am so happy to announce that I have the pleasure of opening this show, just ahead of my friends in North Highlands! If you haven’t heard their debut LP Wild One, please check it out here. This album was on constant repeat for me this fall and I’m so, so excited for the opportunity to share a bill with them again.

    I’m also happy to announce that my favorite Shervin Lainez is going to be running lights for me that night, and we have something very special planned. You’ve probably seen his work, and you’ve probably seen it every day for the last million days. Check it out here!

  6. thefamilyrecords: The lovely Lacrymosa will be featured in the Piano Driven Women benefit show at Joe’s Pub on November 2nd.  Rachael Sage headlines the event, with excellent support from Rachelle Garniez, Greta Gertler, Alyson Greenfield, Dani Elliot, Allison’s Invention and, of course, Lacrymosa.  The show will be benefiting Mill Street Loft’s Outreach Programs for Adolescent Women.  It’s a great cause, so be sure to come out!  Tickets are available right here, and you can check out some of the music that will be featured here. -Emma
